Baby Girl Congratulations Card

This is a really quick and easy card to make using one of our Decorative Panel Cards. To create a completely different card, just choose another Panel Card design, the appropriate card & mulberry colours and follow the same instructions!

Shopping List 

• Smooth Baby Pink Card - 105 x 148
• C6 Baby Pink Envelope
• Baby Pink Teddy Decorative Panel Card
• Cerise Mulberry Paper
• Peel Off Baby Girl / Boy - 11560
• JeJe Transfer Foil

Tools 

• Ruler
• Glue Stick
• Sticky Pads
• Paint Brush and Water

Card Instructions

1. Using a wet paint brush and a ruler, mark a 80mm x 80mm square on the Mulberry Paper.
2. Place the edge of the ruler inside the square against one edge and using your fingers tear away the Mulberry Paper from outside of the square. Repeat this for the other 3 edges so that you end up with ‘fluffy’ edges. Leave the Mulberry paper to dry.
3. Apply Glue Stick to one side of the Mulberry Paper. It’s best to do this on top of an old piece of paper, making sure you glue all of the edges.
4. Carefully position the piece of glued Mulberry onto the card, so that it has an equal border at the top and sides. Using the edge of your fist, firmly push down on the Mulberry Paper to make sure it is stuck down properly (Don’t use your fingers to smooth it over as this causes the Mulberry Paper to ‘fur’ up). Leave to dry.
5. Place Sticky Pads on the back of the Decorative Panel Card and carefully place it in the middle of the Mulberry Paper.
6. Using the JeJe Transfer Foil, stick the chosen wording from the Peel-Off sheet to your card. (This Transfer Foil is fantastic. It makes using Peel Offs so easy and once you've used it you'll never go back!)
7. Crease your finished card. Write your message on the inside or glue in one of our 'Congratulations on the birth of your baby' Inserts.
