Shopping List

  • A4 sheet of iridescent blue card
  • Acetate
  • Double sided tape / Glue Roller
  • Snowflake peel-off
  • Silver letter peel-off
  • Sticky pads

Tools

  • Ruler
  • Scissors or Guillotine

Cathy has named her card "Easy Peasie with Peel-Offs" and below are instructions to make her design.

  • Cut 2cm off the short side of the A4 card
  • Measure 9.3cm from one end of the card and crease.  Measure 8.3cm from the other end of the card and crease so it overlaps the other flap you have just created. The side that is shorter is the front of the card
  • Cut a piece of acetate 21cm x 2.5cm
  • Stick a piece of thin double sided tape to the inside edge of the front of the card
  • Stick the acetate to the double sided tape, so that when the card is closed, the outside edge of the acetate meets the the right hand edge of the card
  • Stick a Christmas greeting vertically down the acetate
  • Stick 3 snowflakes of various sizes on a spare piece of acetate
  • Cut them out and layer them using sticky pads
  • Using sticky pads, mount the snowflake montage on the edge of the front of the card overlapping the acetate
  • Place other snowflakes at random on card front or wherever required

It’s quick, simple, fun and suitable for any age
