Shopping List 

• 105 x 148 cream card
• C6 Cream Envelope
• Funstamps Happy Christmas Stamp (FG34)
• Ultimate Metallic Gold Ink Pad
• Mirror Gold Embossing Powder
• Ivory Mulberry Paper
• Christmas Tree Embossed Image
• Write ‘n’ Rub Foiling Pen
• Tonertex Gold Foil
• Marvey Metallic Gold Pen

Tools 

• Ruler
• Scissors or guillotine
• Glue Stick
• Heat gun
• Sticky Pads

Instructions

• On the cream card, make two faint pencil marks 20mm from the top and two faint pencil marks 15mm from the right hand edge.
• Ink the ‘Happy Christmas’ rubber stamp, and place it centrally on the card approximately 15mm from the bottom of the card.
• Cover the ink with gold embossing powder and shake off the excess.
• Heat the stamped ‘Happy Christmas’ with a heat gun until the powder ‘melts’. Be careful not to overheat.

• Leave the card to flatten.

• Cut a piece of Mulberry Paper to 75mm x 80mm.
• Carefully apply Glue Stick to one side of the Mulberry Paper. It’s best to do this on top of an old piece of paper, making sure you glue all of the edges.
• Carefully position the piece of glued Mulberry onto the card using the marks to guide you. The longer side should be positioned vertically.
• Using the edge of your fist, firmly push down on the Mulberry Paper to make sure it is stuck down properly (Don’t use your fingers to smooth it over as this causes the Mulberry Paper to ‘fur’ up).

• Leave the Mulberry Paper to dry.

• Test the Write ‘n’ Rub Foiling Pen to make sure the glue is running freely.
• Using the back of a ruler, draw a line of glue along the edges of the Mulberry Paper using the Write ‘n’ Rub Foiling Pen. Keep your hand steady and move the pen at a constant speed – this will keep the line of glue neat.
• Leave to dry. This is indicated by the glue colour changing from blue to clear.

• Place the Tonertex gold foil on top of the clear glue (gold side up) and rub firmly over it with your finger so the Mulberry Paper gets a gold edge.

• Cut your Christmas Tree Embossed Image to 6cm wide by 6.5 cm high.
• Using a Marvey Gold Metallic Ink Pen and the back of a ruler, draw a fine line around the edges of the card topper.
• Leave your Christmas Tree topper to dry.
• Place Sticky Pads on the back of the Christmas Tree card topper in each corner and in the middle. Place the topper in the middle of the Mulberry Paper.

• Crease your finished card. Leave your card blank on the inside or glue in one of our Christmas Inserts.
