Necklace Instructions - Thread 4 x 5mm beads on to 2 Memory wires and 5 x 4mm beads on to another Memory wire. Cut 40cm of beading wire and use to it to wire 10 drops on to three memory wires as per diagram.
- Pull the wire so that beads sit snugly together as you go on the outward journey and on the return to create a solid unit.
- Tuck the finish of the wire through a drop and cut off the excess.
- Thread on to each side of each row (tuck start wire from bead unit into 1st drop and cut off excess) 4 x drops interspersed with ‘e’ beads, followed by 2 x 5mm beads and 2 x 4mm beads interspersed with ‘e’ beads, finishing with 2 x 3mm beads.
- Gather the ends of the memory wire and slide on 4 x 8mm beads, using the last bead to cover the end of the wire. Slide the first bead slightly up the wire, apply super glue to the wires and then slide the bead back into place. Slide the end bead off, apply glue and again slide the bead back into place. Repeat on the other side.
- Thread a drop on to a head pin, leave 5mm above the top of the bead and cut off the rest; bend into an eye and you have made a pendant drops. Repeat to make another pendant drop. Cut 20cm of the Tiger Tail and loop it over the wire between the 2nd drop and the ‘e’ bead on the lower wire, secure with a crimp bead.
- Thread 2 x 4mm beads, 3 x 5mm beads, 3 drops interspersed with ‘e’ beads and a pendant drop; repeat to complete a row and fasten between the same beads on the other side of the bead unit.
- Cut 30 cm of the Tiger Tail and loop it over the wire between the 3 drops interspersed with ‘e’ beads on the lower wire, secure with a crimp bead.
- Thread on 6 x 4mm beads, 5 x 5mm beads, 4 drops interspersed with ‘e’ beads and a pendant drop; repeat to complete a row and fasten between the same beads on the other side of the bead unit.
- Slide beads along the memory wire so that they move up to the central unit.
- Use super glue to secure the last beads on each row to the wire.
Earrings Instructions - Trim the eye pins - 2 to 2.5cm and 1 to 2 cm. Trim the head pins - 3 to 2 cm, 2 to 2.7 cm and 1 to 3 cm.
- Threading the head pins: 3cm pin - 1 x drop + 3x 4mm beads; 2.7cm pins - 1x drop, 1x 4mm bead and 2 x 3mm beads; 2cm pins - 1x drop + 1 x 3mm bead. Finish each head pin by bending the top to make an eye.
- On the 2cm eye pin - slightly open an eye and add a finished 2cm headpin, close the eye, thread on a finished 2.7cm, 3cm, and 2.7cm headpins, then make an eye at the end and add a finished 2cm headpin before closing it.
- Make eyes on the end of the 2.5cm eye pins and slip them into the eyes of the finished 2cm eye pin, close the eyes.
- Open a jump ring and connect the empty eye of a 2.5cm eye pin, a finished 2cm head pin, the empty eye of a 2.5cm eye pin, an earwire and the close the jump ring. Repeat for other earring.
