Skinny Blue Bracelet

Even if you haven't tried jewellery making before, this is a project you can undertake without any experience! Although these bracelets can be a little on the fiddly side, the results are worth it!

  1. Thread the Ice Blue seed beads onto the elastic beading cord (whilst it is still on the roll). Keep doing this until you have enough to go around your wrist. You can test this by carefully wrapping the beads on the thread around your wrist.

  2. Once you know how long a bracelet needs to be you can measure it and use a bead board in future for accurately measuring bracelets.

  3. Cut the elastic beading cord leaving the ends long enough to tie a knot.

  4. Pull the elastic beading cord tight and tie a knot. Make sure your knot is tight otherwise it will come undone!

  5. Snip the loose ends off.

  6. Using clear nail varnish, seal the knot so it definitely won't come undone!

  7. Repeat this process with the Silver seed beads.

  8. Repeat the process again, but this time have some fun and make some pretty patterns using both colours. On one bracelet I used 2 Ice Blue beads followed by 2 Silver beads.

  9. Make another bracelet using 4 Ice Blue beads followed by 2 Silver Beads.

  10. Make another bracelet using 4 Silver beads followed by 2 Ice Blue Beads.

The options are endless! Now you can make a whole new set of bracelets using new colours and you'll have something to wear with every outfit!
